Seeking a Staff Physician
at Citizens Memorial Hospital

  • Modern 12-bed ED
  • A private, non-profit, Level III Trauma Center
  • Annual volume is approximately 20,000
  • Moderate acuity, 13%-15% admission rate
  • Physician coverage: 12-hour shifts (8a-8p and 8p-8a)
  • Advanced Practice Providers coverage: 12-hour shifts (11a-11p)
  • Outstanding starting salary

  • Must be EM-trained and/or EM-certified, and have ACLS, PALS and ATLS certifications

    Citizens Memorial Hospital is a 86-bed acute care hospital that offers the following patient services:
  • Acute care including Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care Unit, Telemetry, Birthing Unit (The Birth Place), Heart Center, and
  • Geriatric Psychiatry and a full complement of Outpatient Services. A new STEMI Center was added in February 2014. CMH is a sole community provider hospital.
  • Emergency Services. Level III Trauma Center and ambulance services for three counties.
  • Ambulatory Care. 32 Physician Offices, 11 of which are certified Rural Health Clinics.

    CMH was awarded the prestigious Davies Award of Excellence by the Health Information and Management Systems Society, and has been recognized for its innovative efforts associated with its organizational patient electronic medical record system. CMH was also named a Most Wired and Most Wireless Hospital, and was named One of the Top 10 Rural Hospitals in America. CMH is one of the 10 largest employers in southwest Missouri. In 2010, CMH was awarded the Missouri Quality Award, which is modeled after the coveted Malcom Baldrige National Quality Award.   • Lake of the Ozarks - Hikers, backpackers, equestrians and bicyclists can use one of 12 trails that wind through oak-hickory forests and sunny glades and offer bluff-top views of the lake. Take a guided tour of Ozark Caverns, best known for a formation of stalactites and waterfalls Water enthusiasts can make use of the park's two swimming beaches or rent a boat at one of the park's marinas.
  • The Mark Twain National Forest, situated in the Missouri Ozarks, is home to over 530 native wildlife species. The far-flung locations of our six Ranger Districts make it possible to encounter a surprising variety of animals, such as roadrunners, whitetail deer, bald eagles, rainbow trout, or even a black bear!
    The Mark Twain National Forest maintains viable populations of all species while also affording a medley of activities that will allow humans to enjoy them - everything from hunting and fishing to wildlife viewing and photography.
