UPMC Pinnacle is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Site Director|
to provide leadership at our three Harrisburg Hospitals.
UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg: 53-bed urban ED with more than 70,000 annual visits
UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic: 21-bed suburban ED with more than 42,000 annual visits
UPMC Pinnacle West Shore: 18-bed suburban ED with more almost 28,000 annual visits
Duties and Available Services
Develop, implement, and optimize staffing and scheduling models, workflow plans,
customer service initiatives, department productivity initiatives and financial performance
Coordinate the rotation schedule of residents, medical students, and ACPs through the emergency departments
Assist with teaching activities in the Department of Emergency Medicine - major teaching affiliate of
the Penn State Hershey Medical Center Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency Program
Telemedicine services available for neurology, stroke, infectious disease, wound and burn care, and dermatology
On-site employed hospitalist team
Full-time, career-minded, licensed emergency medicine physician
Minimum of three years full-time emergency medicine clinical experience and administrative experience preferred
Board-certified in emergency medicine through ABEM or AOBEM
Committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients
Team-oriented with ability to provide personalized patient care and demonstrate clinical outcomes
