    NEW JERSEY
    Emergency Physicians needed for a University health system in the very desirable Northern New Jersey area.
  • Emergency Medicine physicians are needed for a Level I Trauma Center which treats over 70,000 patients per year.
  • Pediatric emergency care is located in a separate location in the hospital, and services are provided by the Department of Pediatrics.
  • The department is active at all levels of medical student education including a mandatory 4th year medical student clerkship and an active Emergency Medicine Interest group. Responsibilities will include teaching Emergency Medicine residents, Physician Assistants, Family Medicine and Psychiatry residents. Other duties include working with the various departments and divisions within the medical school on collaborative research projects, as well as on assigned hospital or medical school committees.
  • Opportunities exist for involvement in research, EMS, Ultrasound, Toxicology. The department has a growing toxicology service and an active clinical research program. This excellent hospital is also a comprehensive stroke center.
  • New initiatives are currently being planned for an observation unit (2013) and an urgent care center.
